Keele Islamic Centre ‘Torn From Home: Refugee Voices’ event

As part of Keele Islamic Centre’s Coffee, Cake and Contemplate events, ‘Torn From Home: Refugee Voices’ will ‘focus on a number of refugee stories and journeys from Syria, Afghanistan, Rwanda and Bosnia- exploring their emotions, memories and dreams for the future. We will also share with you a number of provisions Keele University has in place to support refugees on campus.

Additionally, we have teamed up with the YMCA in Stoke-on-Trent and Remembering Srebrenica to host a special documentary screening to fit into the theme of Torn From Home.’
