SAVE THE DATE – 27th/28th April – Campaign weekend, council elections

Many people will be aware by now that the candidates for the all out election of Stoke-on-Trent City Council councillors have been announced. Details of candidates can be found here

As NorSCARF is an anti-racist and anti-fascist organisation, we are committed to campaigning against the election of councillors from far right parties or with far right sympathies. Unfortunately there are a number of candidates in the Stoke-on-Trent elections that this applies to and we will therefore be running a campaign to encourage people not to vote for these people.

The Stoke elections will be held on 2nd May and NorSCARF will be coordinating a weekend of action on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April. There is also a good chance that we will be running other sessions before and after this weekend.

Contact us for more info about this campaign, or check our website, Facebook, and Twitter for ongoing updates. Also don’t forget we are running our ROAR 2019 Root Out All Racism event on Saturday 6th April.
